Weekend Vibes - Last of November

Nov 24, 2015

Friday ::
Thomas Rhett + Brett Eldredge concert (a full concert re-wind to come)

Saturday ::
The first snow in STL + a day trip to Columbia for tailgating & adventure

Our first stop in Columbia was Logboat Brewing. Logboat Brewery had the kind of atmosphere that contains all my favorite components: succulents, reclaimed wood tables & industrial bits. It was a dream! Their beer is also stellar. I had a Shiphead Ginger Wheat and a Mocha Stout.

We kept things really local and brought in a Shakespeare's Pizza to pair with our beer.

Then we bundled up (and I mean bundled up, 30 degrees!) and headed to tailgate for a bit.

We capped off the evening at some local bars. Hello rooftop!

And made a pit stop by a mini version of their magic tree.

Sunday ::
I wrapped up my weekend at a preview event of the new food truck, Frankly Sausages,  for Six Mile Bridge Beer. This ended up being my second Six Mile Bridge Beer event of the week.

As for the Craft Beer Link-Up with Drink The Day.
I basically had a whole weekend of craft beer. My favorite being the Shiphead Ginger Wheat at Logboat (mentioned above). I drank it as is and my friend drank hers served as a raddler (served with grapefruit sparkling water).
