Embrace Missouri

One of my 2016 Intentions is to Embrace Missouri -- deemed #EmbraceMO.

My Game Plan = try at least
++ 6 new coffee shops
++ 6 new eats
++ 6 new breweries
(new to me*)

Coffee Shops

1. Companion West Campus 
I am so glad this new facility opened up close to my home. You can see my review in the post linked above.

2. Comet Coffee
Their rebel within muffin couple with an iced latte is a great way to start a Saturday.



Eats

1. Melt
Their concept is centered around waffles. Everything is served on one and they have ample batter options (I went with cornbread). They have a very eclectic atmosphere full of arcade games. Definitely a fun brunch spot.

2. Copper Pig
You can see my review in the link above. I really loved this place. Great addition to the Macklind District!

3. Old Standard Fried Chicken
Great food and cocktail selection. I really loved the atmosphere - wood interior (stable-esque), lots of cacti and plants, a huge garage door to create an open air concept when nice, and a fun patio.

Breweries

1. Standard Brewing Company

I enjoyed the IPA I tried. They also have dart boards, which is a win for me!
