5 Things To Try This Month -- June

Jun 6, 2016

Another month & another list of things to try. Each month I gather a list of 5 things to do -- This list typically includes places/events for St. Louis locals to try, general DIYs, adventure ideas and maybe a new read. If you're new to these lists, you can catch past ones here.

1. Head to the Missouri Botanical Gardens - Whitaker Music Festival
When : Every Wednesday evening June through August; music at 7:30 pm
Pack a picnic, gather your clan and head to the gardens to enjoy the summer weather and live music. One of my favorite FREE summer events.

2. Join a Summer Reading Club
I recommend checking your local library for options (St. Louis County's) or you can join in on a book club, like Lauren Conrad's. I joined the Adult Reading Club and am racking up points finishing my Spring Reading List.

3. Go fish!
Tis the season for fishing! Grab your pole and head out to a local park/lake/river/pond.
I am heading to a family fishing tournament this weekend at a local lake-  it's the 10th annual!

4. Head to a beer event - St. Louis Brewers Heritage festival
When : June 11th, Noon - 10pm
Craft beer, live music, and fireworks!

5. Embrace your inner wanderlust
Now is the time to book a trip! I'd like to book a trip to Portland so I can check it off my Year 28 Goals.
