Weekly Bits -- 29 of 52

Jul 22, 2016

We made it through another work week. While each day dragged on, the week seemed to fly. Granted I was down & out on Tuesday with a sore throat/head cold deal. Some r&r were what the doctor ordered. Now on to a weekend packed with a country concert, family pool party , birthday celebration and I may head to my hometown church picnic.

Watched :: White Collar & Friday Night Lights
I am starting both of these series on Netflix now and am a fan of both so far.

Sipped :: Unsweet Tea from McAlister's Free Tea Day
Couldn't pass up free tea day!

Attended :: Jason Aldean's Six String Circus Tour
Actually heading there tonight with three of my girl friends. I've only been to his show once and it's been years. Definitely excited to watch the performance! I've been binging on all of his music on Spotify and am loving all of his older albums that you don't hear on the radio anymore.

Ordered :: KEEP Collective Jewelry
Remember when I hosted a social a while back? Well I am finally ordering more jewels. Can't wait to show you!

Enjoyed :: This article on Intentional Living
I especially enjoyed the bit about focusing outward. Anne makes note of not worrying about having a perfect space in order to invite people over, but more so furnishing your space with memories made within the four walls. This resonated with me as a new homeowner as nearly a year in I still have clutter and barren spaces. Making a house a home takes lots of time, money, and effort, but I am enjoying all my moments and memories made within my home.
