Halloween - Weekend + Day Of

Nov 1, 2016

This weekend was a definite winner and I love that the fun carried on into Monday for Halloween. I love events and celebrating so 4 days of festive-ness is right up my alley! Here's the breakdown of my weekend & Halloween >>

Thursday --
This was popcorn ball making night at my Grandma's. This is an annual deal that some of us grandkids/aunts/uncles assist in. It's always a hoot. This year we sipped seasonal beers and whipped up close to 200 popcorn balls. I love being able to make memories like this.

Friday --
This was a mostly low-key night. I did head to check out a new to me brewery - Friendship Brewing. They have a seasonal sweet potato beer, neat!

Saturday --
We had two Halloween parties to attend this evening. One was my annual family one and the other was the boy's friend's costume party. I had a really good time this evening. I got to "trick-or-treat" at my family party, dine on chili, and hang with some of my favorite folks.
Lumber Jack + Bat

Sunday --
I had a woodlands themed baby shower to attend for one of my best gal pals, Erika. It was a perfect afternoon to shower baby Clyde with love & goodies.

Halloween --
My cousin, Natalie, came over to help hand out candy. I had a taco soup in the crockpot, seasonal beers in the fridge, my Bat costume, festive coloring pages for us and candy for the kiddos. We had a good time catching up and passing out candy.

of course I had to try out the bat snap chat filter!

goodie bags I made for some special ghouls

So, tell me, what did you dress up as and how was your weekend?!
