Officially starting Orange Theory classes, side hustle, packing and meal prepping are the top things on the agenda. This weekend ended being pretty busy + productive. Here are the highlights -
Friday - Chill date night in - Redbox + Dinner
Saturday - The Glime Couples Shower
These two cuties get hitched in July & us bridesmaids showered them with a Cinco themed couples shower. We had a lot of fun & even incorporated the derby races! Lots more festivities to come for Natalie & Todd.
The pinata I filled for the party - it was a hit, literally!
Sunday - Errands + Farm Time
We started the day early to go snag the hutch I bought off FB Marketplace and then headed out to the Cattleman's uncle's farm so he could do cattle work for a bit. This is one of my favorite farms we visit, it has long winding lanes that make it easy for me to go on long walks while they work.
Then we headed to the Cattleman's farm to do some wedding tasks - we started cutting some old rusty tin for centerpieces. Unconventional, yes. But I love it!
The next task we focused on was getting the raised garden built and in place. Mostly I observed and he did the heavy lifting. He plans to fill it with soil this week so we can start planting next weekend. We plan to keep it simple this year because our time is pretty tied up - tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, herbs and flowers.
And just like that the weekend is over and we are back to the grind. I have goals in place for work + personal this week and I'm hoping to keep a good focus. Only a few more weeks left in my home if all goes as planned. :)
Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteThanks! Aren't they so peaceful?
DeleteThat shower looked so cute! & I love your garden plans. Lately I've been trying to figure out what I want to plant in our front yard. I have very limited gardening knowledge, so this should go over well ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty darn cute + festive! Plants definitely take planning + $$. I like things that are perennial & really love boxwood bushes.
DeleteWould love to hear from you!
